Nursery Rhyme Day at MDO

Thanks to my mom (all the sewing), Randi ( bonnet from her preschool pilgrim costume), Charlie (assembly), Jason (sewing & decorating) & Hank (Cane) for the costumes. If there would have been a prize, we would have won it. Kylie decided to be a Play Boy Bunny after her nap.

We spent Christmas Eve with The Holsombacks. Alex and the girls have been friends since they were a year old. Soon after Bethany and I became friends. After all of these years of friendship, we had never gotten the whole family together except for events/birthdays so we decided what better time than Christmas. The girls made cookies for Santa ,the guys watched the Poinsettia Bowl and Bethany and I chatted away as usual.

Alex went to the Ronald McDonald house with Girl Scouts to take cards for the guest and make cookies. She gave them the card and it looks like she made a bee line back to her troop.

This party had been planned for months. Imagine that. It was a Camp Rock Backyard Movie Party with campfire and all. I bet I checked online weather 1000 times that week and it didn't help at all. Rain was in the forecast and rain it was. So inside comes all 17 kids and 15 adults. They watched the movie on the largest wall in our living room and everything turned out fine, loud but fine. Yes, I know that my one year is eating popcorn with Jake. I had the 911 dispatcher and Fire Marshall at the party as guest. I figured we could get through it.

Trick or Treat

Halloween was a busy day for the Deason's. Me and Kylie dressed up at MDO. In case you didn't know what I was... a bath tub. After everyone got out of school, we went to Columbiana for some candy from the businesses. Kylie was pooped after that so we took her home and off to Monars house. Alex saw her friend Dallas along the way.
