Alex and Kylie's First Day of School

Alex is in First Grade this year and her Teacher is Ms. Williford. Alex is so smart and does well in school. She loves to read and draw.

Kylie is at Mother's Day Out and she is in Ms. Cindy's Class. She has to sleep in the bathroom because she is too nosey and will not sleep when she can see others. Other than that, she is doing great.

Our vacation to Children's Hospital

It happened again so we are back at Children's Hospital for the weekend. Her discharge papers say that Kylie was diagnosed with An Acute Life Threatning Episode. I believe that it was related to fever. Anyway, we are blessed and thank God everyday for 2 beautiful and healthy girls

What is wrong with this picture?

In the last 6 hours, I have watched.....

Kylie begin to breathe irregular
The Calera Fire Department give Kylie oxygen
Her carseat strapped to a bed that preceeded to take her away in an abulance
Arrive at Children's Hospital playing patty cake
Have a number of test and x-rays
and now 7 hours later... she is making pooting sounds on her float and anything that she comes in contact with that she can get some suction on.

Sips N Strokes

These are my friends Karen Holsomback and Karen White (or Kayren as Jack and Ron call her). Anyway I took them to Sips N Strokes for a night out. Karen White's precious 17 year old daughter Megan was in Peru on a Mission Trip and I decided that she needed something to do to keep her mind off of Megan for the night. We had lots of fun painting, it was their first time. I believe that this may be my favorite one so far. We all planned to put them in our girls room. Megan returned home safely and had a wonderful experience helping people come to know Jesus. She brought Alex a bracelet back that the ladies of Peru made.

She is smiling 4 days later...

We got a new roof due to hail damage and Alex managed to find one of the roofing nails that was left behind while doing a cartwheel. Since she was up to date on her shots, we did not have to go to the hospital which was good since I told her after her 5 year old shots that she would not have to get another shot for 7 years. What was I thinking?

No....We haven't given up already

I made Jack a cake for Father's Day and Kylie was seriously scoping it out. We decided why not....So we let her practice for her first birthday.
