Miss Kylie Ryan Deason was born at an impressive 35 weeks on Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 weighing in at 5.5 pounds. Big sister Alex is completely in love with her. Everyone is at home and healthy doing very well. Thank you for all the prayers over the last 8 months.

Alex Lost Her Front Tooth

Alex pulled her tooth Saturday morning while watching cartoons. She woke us up at 6:40 a.m. this morning and said that the Tooth Fairy didn't bring her anything but took her tooth. We moved her bed and it had fallen down behind it.

I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM

We took a day trip to the Blue Bell Plant in Sylacauga, AL. The kids watched a movie and took a tour to see how ice cream is made. At the end of the tour we went to the parlor for ice cream.

Hank's 80th Birthday

We spent the day at Monar and Hank's celebrating Hank's 80th Birthday. Alex and Austin got him a cookie cake half "Cars" and half "Disney Princess". Hank is asking Alex if she is excited about being a "Big Sister".

Emma Kathryn's 3rd Birthday

4th of July

We went to Granny and Paw Paw Kelley's place on Smith Lake for the 4th of July. The highlights always includes great food, swimming and the kids riding the golf cart. Alex has already decided that she wants Santa to bring her a golf cart.

Alex's Preschool Graduation

Alex had a graduation ceremony on May 20 at our church. We celebrated at home with a cookout, cake and ice cream. Alex and Austin went swimming in her new pool. She also got a surprise on Saturday from the florist. Paw Paw & Gram sent her flowers and a goody basket. Her favorite part of the basket was a glass bottle Coca-Cola. She told me that they already put the coke in a glass for her.

Happy Valentine's Day

Alex got her first gift from a boy on Valentine's Day. Her "boyfriend" as she calls him got her flowers, candy and a purse.

Taking a Ride on Amtrak

We went to Yazoo City, MS this weekend to visit family. Paw Paw took Alex and Austin on a real train ride to Jackson. The trip lasted about an hour and then it took Lindsey and Philip an additional hour or more to find the train station to pick us up. The kids had fun and thats all that matters.

Alex Lost Her First Tooth

Alex lost her first tooth on January 23. Boy was she excited. Her new tooth has already started coming in along with a permanent molar. She couldn't wait to get it under her pillow and see what the tooth fairy would bring her. She got $20.00 and a pack of Trident.
